Some of the tests listed by Diva are covered by standard NHS tests, but a number of the "immunological" blood tests (offered in only a few places in the UK) are controversial and costly, as are the treatments. Scientists and doctors don't agree on whether or not they are useful or scientifically valid. They are probably not free in other countries either.

There is an NHS clinical trial in Liverpool for the "natural killer cells" uterine biopsy, which is free to women who meet the criteria.
Why not ? If you have had recurrent miscarriages then why are you not backing this petion all the way ? I know ladies who have lost children and its very sad to hear they have not been given a reason why due to funding!
All tests should be given wether your employed or not and the petion above states that i.e All pregnancy loss patients should get all tests free.

I feel very sorry for every lady who has had a loss so i highely recommend everyone who has had a loss to sign the above petion so that the goverment will look into this matter of unexplained pregnancy losses in greater detail covering all aspects every test every chromosomel test that the private hospitals do.

The nk cell at the hospital above is a womb biopsy which is hit and miss as they gather tissue as well so the test is not 100% accurate but the nk cell blood tests are and as the lady has stated they dont offer thesa tests at your local miscarriage clinic unless you go private.

Am sure the lady has done everything she can possible and i cant see the lady going out of her way by doing a petion if this was not the case hence there is quite a lot of people who have already signed it including me 11mc
she has been through the mill and back bless her and am sure she has a lot of knowledge on recurrent miscarriages i.e what tests there is out there to be done i.e researched.

2min of our time is helping everyone out there who suffer losses to get the proper help they need.

Your a true friend sammy for posting the link for your friend i hope people have a heart and sign this for your friend and all other people suffering a loss.

I really praise the people that have offered my friend support... do you know what, i have suffered 2 losses myself, once with a miscarriage and once at 24 weeks and I know how it feels to suffer losses.

I have watched my friend over the last few years celebrate her pregnancy so many times and also how she now to feels like she dare not even to do so. She has fought and fought to get tests to find out what went wrong when the NHS who have not thought its not necessary or they wont fund it only to eventually admit that they should have done so. Now she has to go down the adoption route having felt she has lost all faith in society. Never to have her own child with her partner.

To all those people that think the is "making it up" or "not tried hard enough" or think its a "big game" SHAME ON YOU!!!

I hope one day you will not be in the position my friend is, suffer the losses like we have all had to do and one day feel you can offer some compassion and support for what we have all been through!!

Believe me, i never thought i would have to give birth at 24 weeks to a baby that was no longer living... lose my daughter that i loved and longed for so much, but i did!!! If you are so selfish you cannot support or feel sorry for someone else in this position or feel you cannot help them then maybe you should not post your negative comments. I only asked that you would sign her authorised petition, I never asked for you negative comments. If you cant feel like you can offer her support, maybe you should keep your negative responses to yourself? Don't you think she has tried everything in this world to fulfill her dream? Are you doubting how much she has tried to have a little baby herself? I have always received ultimate support with this forum and I have offered the same back and I thought thats what its all about, some people really let this forum down.

Remember... one day it might happen to you, like it did us, and then you will be here asking for support and understanding... I hope you receive it?
