Some advice/opinions please

Hi,

I've just discovered I've miscarried for the 2nd time - 1st Miscarriage was in November. Both have happened in the early stages (5 and 8 weeks respectively).

My hubby and I have been ttc for almost 2 years now, and neither of us have had children previously.

Can anyone out there give me a bit of hope (god knows I need it right now) and let me know if they've managed to conceive and carry sucessfully after recurrent miscarriages, particulalry if they've also net had children previously?

I'm starting to wonder if there's something really wrong with us, and we've been told that they wont investigate unless we have 3 miscarriages in a row - I'm really not sure if I could cope with another

Hi I am sorry to hear about your loss.

I had a mc last Feb at 7 weeks and recently lost my triplets at 21 weeks (due to "incompetant cervix".)

I have endometriosis and been told that can cause infertility but doesn't have anything to do with miscarriages.

It's hard to say cos like the doctors have said, they won't investigate right now.

I read a book by Tommy Lee and he said his mum had lost 7 before she had him and his sister, some people never lose any. It just seems to be "one of those things" if there is no genuine medical reason.

Like you I can't face another loss. I worry about multiples again cos basically my body couldn't handle the weight/capacity of them and I went into labour at 21 weeks. I'm scared if I get pregnant again.

There is always the option of going private if you really want to be checked over for medical reasons right now?

Big hugs

xx

Hi just wanted to offer my experience Ive had two mc's one very early at 5 weeks and the 2nd one just recently at 12 weeks (mmc) I have been private to see a specialist who advised we just need to try again as he thinks we've just been unlucky as were clearly fertile. I havent got any children either but consulatant just thinks, as I say that we have been unlucky.
Good luck to you. xxx

Sorry for your losses. There is hope. My best friend is living proof. Her mother had 4 miscarriages before a successful pregnancy.
