I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, please don't be scared, you'll be ok.
I've had natural misacarriages twice when I didn't know I was pregnant, so it's not the same as it happening when you know that you are (I was younger and not expecting to be pregnant). When I knew I was pregnant last year and did miscarry at 13 weeks there was no way I could have done that by myself at home, because the baby had already died at 8 weeks anyway and I was in a lot of pain they wanted to get it out. More to the point I couldn't stand the thought of it being in me anymore. I was under anesthetic and then off work for 2 weeks - 1 for me to recover physically and 1 for me to recover mentally. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | First off...I am so sorry for your loss . I had a d&c when I lost my baby. I was put to sleep totally, and didn't feel a thing. When I woke up I had a bit of discomfort and I bled for about 10 days...very light bleeding. I found that for a few days after I was uncomfortable but then was fine. I took 2 weeks off work. I tried to go back after 1 week but found it was too soon, I work with Moms and their new babies....so I took another week. Take care | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am so so sorry for your loss. I had a DandC just over a month ago and it wasn't that bad to be honest. By the time I had the Dand C, I couldn't cry anymore and I just wanted it to be over by that point. I was out of hospital a few hours later and didn't bleed that much (no worse than a heavy period). I did get a UTI a week later which I had to take antibiotics for but think that was my own fault for not drinking enough water (and too much wine). I still cried everynight for weeks but apart from sad days here and there, I am feeling more positive now. Hope this helps and thinking of you. XX | | | | Status: Offline

It's not like you can't leave the house, but don't over do it. Take some time out for you, watch movies, talk to friends (or us!!) eat brownies | | | | Status: Offline
