Hormonal changes after M/C

I had m/c last week tue. It has been a week and at times I feel cranky and moody, other times i feel depressed, and yesterday all of a sudden i've been feeling, the best way to describe it is - i've been feeling horny - i have this urge to have sex with my partner. After one week of m/c is it okay to have sex with my partner. why do i feel this way, then my mood changes from this to being depressed or cranky again. And it is driving my partner crazy cause he doent understand this. Can someone please help me

I am sorry for your loss lovely.

I guess your body is just trying to get back to normal after your miscarriage.

Wishing you all the best xx

Hi sweetie,

so sorry for your loss! I agree w/Rumpskin its your hormones regulating and also, emotionally its a rollercoaster as well..

I had a d&c feb 22 and once the bleeding stopped i felt like i desperatly wanted to me be close to my partner too.. I did 4 days after the d&c, I felt ready (and I was ) but more importantly i told my OH 'who would have known a s**g would feel so therapeutic'..lol!

Take your time, listen to your body and with time you will feel more like your old self, hun!! Here's a hug

I agree with OMI
I too had a m/c ...but mine was on the 24th Feb...(the week after my b'day too! )
But I had been having symptoms like yourself too! Dont worry, listen to your body...I have been taking some herbal tablets to help with PMS etc...its called Vitex...I found them very good at helping sore breasts and just plain ole mood swings! Just talk to a natrapath in the health shop...that is where you can get them!
Take care and keep thinking positive!
