Is it possible to still be miscarrying?

Okay so my bleeding from mc stopped on 17th december.
And saturday night i started with my first period after mc.

But today im passing lots of stringy bits and a few small clots (tmi - sorry)

I was just wondering if its possible to still be losing baby??

OH came up with a suggestion which i think is impossible but i'll give it to you.
He said, maybe when we had the oopsie last saturday, he fertilized my egg and got me pregnant but for whatever reason it couldnt implant and im losing that?
I dont knoooww

xx

Hi hun,

Sorry to hear of you loss . Did you have a scan to check for 'retained products'?? Tbh some people have a heavier AF and others dont. Im sure that as long as youre not in lots of pain and no signs of infection you should be ok. How far along were you??

I had a scan during the bleeding and he said my womb was empty. There was absolutely nothing there - no gestational sac no nothing. I was 6 weeks. Im not in any pain at all. And its not too heavy. Just VERY watery and runny. I keep leaking (tmi) so imhaving to wear dark clothes atm. I just dont know why im STILL passing clots x

It sounds pretty normal although I know that its hard not to be worried when things arent 'normal' my first AF after mc at 7wks + 6 was heavy and clotty too. If you get worried pop to the docs.

It is possible. I mc'd first on the 22nd of November, then on the 19th of December i had a heavier than normal period and passed the baby's sac.

i know how you feel. it's like wasn't it enough to have to go through it once already, to now be reminded of it during your af and not know if your body is "finished" going through the internal changes, is really difficult. after I saw I passed the sac though i felt "empty" and almost normal again... maybe give it another month and the next time you get your period it'll be easier, I hope

Hugs hunni, i know how you feel. I am sick of bleeding, it's a constant reminder. I think it's done then it comes back again. It's shit and i've had enough!

I had a chemical pregnancy last January and my first period after that was a lot heavier and clottier than normal. After that my periods pretty much returned to normal.
