Hi guys
to all of you who have recently lost a lil sweet pea!
I have recently had a m/c and d&c (actually its been about 3 weeks)...but I was just wondering if it took a long time for any of you to fall pregnant?
Im VERY keen to start ttcing again...but dr said that I had to wait 2 or 3 cycles first!
Anyway, Im hoping that this lil hole in my heart will be filled with another pregnancy!

Firstly, I am sorry about your loss. I hope that you are okay? Have you had AF since? Mine came back after 4 weeks. My m/w told me to wait 2/3 months - how long? I have read that others have been told wait for one month.

I am now on cycle 3 since m/c but tbh, have not really been trying.

However, you are very fertile after a m/c.

Oh, bunny so sorry to hear about your loss!

I had a d&c 4 weeks ago yesterday. I was given the all clear to ttc again as i left the hospital. Still no af but been at it () as of 3 weeks +..dont think im pg tho...

As i asked the same question some time back.. yep, I was and am an eager beaver, ha, ha.... i did have a girl post me that her friend got pregnant 10 days after the d&c..it does happen!

Funny I had just logged on to ask the same question. I have just miscarried and have been told that I will pass everything naturally. I have a scan on 2nd April to check if all has passed, if not I will get a D&C.

I have been told to have one period before trying as if you don't and you fall pregnant, they will not be able to date the baby as well.

Good luck to all out there who is eagerly trying again. I am missing the fact that I am pregnant and all the excitement that comes with it. This is the thing I am finding hard to cope with. xx

The Drs were going to just let me m/c like you...but I wanted them to do a D&C so that I wasnt losing blood and then my mind was at rest...in the fact that they had everything etc...(as to infections etc..)
So hang in there and hope that everything goes well for you!

Thanks girls for your support. I wish I demanded a D&C, I did ask for one but they refused. I'll look at these web pages xx

I will let you know how I get on once I have had my scan on 2nd April.

Just wanted to add, listen to your bodies girls as it will tell you when its ready to ttc again ( i had s*x 4 days after the d&c and it was fine *blush* )

and Good Luck, remember one is more fertile after a mc !!
