Hi. I had a partial molar pregnancy last year, then this year a triploidy pregnancy. PM is a type of triploidy, so that means I have had 2 cases of triploidy but different types - one PM and one not. Because of this I have done TONS of research about these types of pregnancies and especially about repeat cases. I can tell you it is so, so very rare for people to have this twice. I have searched high and low and can only find a handful of other people in the UK and US who have experienced this, so it is very unlikely you have another PM. I can totally undersatnd your anxiety though. Once you've been through it once every test results becomes so stressful. High HCG can be nothing - just the high end of the normal pregnancy scale - or twins. Best wishes. xx Sam

my molar pregnancy was twins.... but not viable fetus.. I can't find any info on molar twins either

**edit technically it was triplets but no viable fetus and the third embryo had started to adsorb itself

Darling,
With you past your level is anxiety is totally understandable, but as had been said, your chances of two molar pregnancies in a row is very, very slim. Have you been to the doctors with your concerns?

Hi again
That's interesting that your molar pregnancy was twins/triplets.My partial molar was twins. They couldn't tell me if one was PM or what the story was. It seems like a crazy coincidence to have the 2 sperm fertilising one egg (which is usually the case with molar pregs) AND another egg being fertilised. Really odd. Best of luck with your appointment. The best thing I have found when waiting for news is distraction, to get our of my own head and own worry. Very likely all will be fine and you'll be totally reassured after appointment, so try to relax as much as you can. Take care, Sam

pretty pistol, why dont you go for a scan hun???? have one privately, it will put your mind at ease.
I cant say I know how you're feeling since I have never experienced a molar pregnancy, but I know how it feels to be absolutely terrified and convinced something is wrong. The feeling is dreadful...
