AF - Is this normal after a MC?

I don't know whether anyone can help but I got my AF today which was totally out of the blue...normally I get a few signs and know when it's coming but nothing and now I'm in agony!

Is this a normal post MC with surgery AF......?
I had the surgery just over five weeks ago. The blood is near black (sorry tmi) and I'm exhausted (even more than usually). I'm on two lots of strong painkillers for nerve pain already and still in pain. Should I still be pain? I usually have a high pain threshold and before I was pregnant I used to have bad period pain that last for all six days but this is ridiculous! I've never had anything like this! Am I going to get it for six days?!?!?!?

I feel completely knocked out by it! Any thoughts ladies other than how pathetic I am for complaining about it? Xx

Sorry to be the grim reaper but yeah its normal, i ve had 2 follow up scans following my surgery before and after my first AF.

The pains were horrible unbearable it knowcked me sick and dizzy ! am on day 6 now myself and its eased of to well it looks like im pooing from the wrong place sorry tmi!

But yeah day one was water brown, day 2 was beetroot red clots galore then day 3 and 4 black black black lumpy and yuk then last 2 days eased off to watery brown with occasional black clots yuk yuk yuk yuk!!!!!!

So yeah unfortunatley its normal just your body clearying itself out after all the trauma of everything.....

Its prob a good sign though as i do truely believe next month shouldnt be as bad as my body has had a very good clear out this time round.

So unless you get signs of infection i would just painkiller yourself up and sit tight.

I nearly passed out with mine i was sick twice and felt like i was miscarrying all over again-- its draining!
