My cycles were always a bit erratic and variable in length... but after my M/c I did find they were longer, it took about 4-5 months to go back to normal and for me thats 28-32 days it varies each month.
Hope they return to normal hun

It took me a few months to get back to normal after my miscarriage back in February. If my cycles were as erratic as yours are, I think I would make an appointment with my doctor to see what they had to say. Good luck!

Hi hun

I would see your doctor; I have irregular cycles like this all the time; they were like yours and then after I had my youngest one month I just skipped a period and the same happened every other month. It didn't stop me getting pregnant though when my cycles were like yours; its just much harder to tell when you're ovulating. Sometimes after having a baby or even miscarriage things can get knocked out of sync even if its not a more serious hormonal problem at stake, but your body just loses sense of the natural rhythm of your cycle. Sometimes giving you hormonal tablets for a short period of time, or putting you on the pill for a few months; can really help as when you get off the medication your body is given like a reset and things are put right though your cycle may not be the exact same length as it was. Ironically though, so far though it seems the miscarriage may well have put right the problems with my cycles; I'm not expecting them to be like clockwork but it does look from tracking my cycle that this time my period is going to come between 28 and 31 days after the last which hasn't happened for well over a year. Also my hormonal imbalance seems to have improved dramatically.

Sophie x

Thankyou sophie that helped me alot
My plan is im going to see what happens so wait for AF or hoping BFP soon, but if AF does come then i will go docs and tell them whats going off.
The longer my cycle takes to come the more i get excited bout being pregnant, which i dont want to do,incase i just get disapointed in the end.

I have no idea when to test tho when my cycles are like this, when did you test ?

hiya

it can take some time for things to settle down - i would defo recommend that you raise your concerns with the dr though, as they can 1)give you peace of mind or 2)refer you if needed....my periods had not really settled after i delivered my boy at 22weeks, but i used every "extra" day as a day for potential conception...do this...dont feel that your cycle is over and stop ttc until your period actually comes, also remain calm (i know it is easier said than done) cos that can have major neg effects on your body's ability to conceive x

I'm glad you've made an appointment. It was making that doctor's appointment that made me feel like there might be some hope again. He's put me on femara (like clomid) and is very aware of me wanting to get myself back to how I was before my miscarriage in February. We'll see how it goes. Good luck!
