My AF returned 5 weeks after my D&C. It was a very different period compared to the one I had before my m/c. It was a lot lighter but instead of having 10 days of a heavy period I spotted for a few days then it would stop, then come back a few days later. This went on for nearly 2 weeks. I am due to have my second period next week, so we will see if it is back to "normal". Hope this helps.
