I got pregnant immediately after a m/c. Had mine May 8th, 2009. No period in between the m/c and this pregnancy. Around 5 weeks after my m/c I started spotting pretty heavy for a couple days and I would think OK my period is finally here but then it would stop. So I would test and all my tests would come out positive and I thought that is was just left over Hcg in my system and started to get worried maybe some tissue was left over from the m/c. The only thing I can come up with is that it was implantation bleeding because I'm now 28 weeks into this pregnancy and everything is going great! Have not had any kind of bleeding since then.

Hi

hope all goes well hun. I'd ask about it but although some mc do start off that way, usually brownish spotting does not go on to become red bleeding or lead to anything sinister, I had it in all three of my successful pregnancies, with my eldest it went on for another 7 weeks (started at 5 weeks). Can you get an earlier scan to reassure you?

Soph x

Hi. I got pregnant straight after a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I had implantation spotting for 2 days around the day my period was due. The pregnancy continued without spotting after that. I know a number of people who had spotting for a long time during pregnancy with no problems. Hope that helps. Best wishes Sam
