GP - investigation?

So I was told that the docs would only investigate the miscarriages after 3 unsuccessful pregnancies. Is that right?
I've seen my gp today and she was adamant that I should be checked over. She didn't refer me to gyno team, but kept going on about the possible causes and that they should look into the miscarriages deeper.
I'm confused.
I have my scan on Mon to confirm that the miscarriage was complete. I will request talking to the consultant.
Any advice what I should ask for?

xx

Hi Ashii

Sorry for what you have been through. I would request all blood clotting tests and karyotyping. The latter will require you and your partner to give blood tests in order to identify any genetic risks. Apparently, they rarely show anything but worth having. Ask them to make sure you have no cysts on your ovaries and a check that your uterus looks fine.
