More help please ladies

I know most of you will be familier with my story by now im just a little parinoid at the moment and could do with reassuarrance and i have more faith in you guys than the nhs after my experiances. so hear goes

ERPC on saturday so 3 days ago now.

Bleeding not heavy so not a concern.

Cramp pains none exsitant really

Pelvic pain still there front and back throbing still on and off though!

Banging headache (inever get headaches?)

Feel sick (could be codeine and diclofenic though)

No temperature

Really tired like i wouldnt make it to the shops and back without stopping for a rest, im getting breathless easily but my chest is fine.

I am soar where they had the tube down my throat but this is getting better and the pain is mor managable.

I guess what i am asking is... Do you guys think this is normal am i just a physical wreck?? I was otherwise healthy until this happened.

My doc has run blood tests to check things but i suspect they will be normal again as they were 3 weeks ago.

I am just worried i still have either products left or am going to get an infection... id like to believe this long nightmare is over and i can finally start to get better but i seem to be taking a long time to recover from the erpc???????? I dont know why and just cant deal with any more shocks!

Have any of you took a long time to recover physically from an erpc?

Emotionally im doing o.k just fed up of being under the weather i feel like a 78 year old women not a 28 year old one!

Any operation is traumatic on the body Bevan, it all sounds absolutely fine to me, I was shattered for the first few days and still felt wobbley a week or so after. Try and sleep/rest lots and drink plenty of fluids, other than that just do as ur body tells u too hun... it will get better.

When will u get the blood results back? It sounds as though u have a very thorough GP, so be guided by them too, the antiiotics can make ufeel shocking, just make sure that u are taking them right... if u are on Metonidazole try and take with food or a glass of milk to line ur stomach which should help...

Thanks, im not on any antibiotics they wouldnt give me any said they werent needed?

I should hear back today about my bloods im sure they will be normal.

i think im just a bit parinoid as for the last 8 weeks nothing has gone as it should have done. I am frightend to push myself to recovery if my body has been fixed yet.

Ive been trying to expel the tissue for 8 weeks without knowing it was still there!

I guess i will have to learn to be paitent with myself and take it easy!

At least i know im not losing my mind thats always a plus!

bloods normal, my dr said its going to take a little while for bleeding to settle down so not to worry unless it gets very heavy!

I think my biggest problem is exhaustion (cant spell). I am so tired of being in pain and not knowing what the hell is wrong so to speak!

I guess nothings wrong except my body trying to heal its self.

it probably depends for the antibiotics then I was classed as high risk but am not really sure why, just keep an eye out for any signs of infection such as high temperature and be easy on urself, u've been through an ordeal and a half and the tiredness is just ur bodies way of coping, rest when u need to and potter about for the next few days when u want too

While I was actively miscarrying (for about 4 days) I didn't sleep, so after the ERCP that is all I wanted to do, it is also a natural grief reaction too...

It sounds normal to me, tomorrow will be 3 weeks since my d&c and im feeling physically back to normal right now.I was exhausted constantly afterwards but im still that way i think the emotional difficulty coupled with an operation is bound to make you feel drained. Its like climbing a mountain with all the changes your body has had to deal with.I would say maybe a week after see if they could give you an internal scan if your still worried? I had mine 8 days after and it was very helpful not only to help the doctors deal with the infection i contracted but also for myself as they made sure everything was in good condition and checked ovaries aswell and it was a huge relief to know things were ok as i dont think i would have been able to relax unless i saw for myself.Hope you feel better soon
