Miscarrying And In Pain

I had my dating scan and found i had a missed miscarriage... This was on 4th Nov

I was given the tablet (5th Nov) which was ment to be followed by the pessaries but i 'passed' the baby and sack myself at home before my next appointment. I 'passed' most in my sleep so this was not painful at all.

This was followed up by a scan to confirm everything had gone then i was sent home. (7th Nov)

This is when all the pain started... I feel as if i cant walk far or sit up for long periods of time. Its as if something is pulling down away from me and it hurts so bad.

I feel like my insides are ging to fall out when i stand up.

Please tell me if this is normal, im scared

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I think you need to go back to see your Dr straight away just to be sure everything is ok. Did they give you a phone number to call if you had any worries? If so, you should call them asap.

I had this for 8 weeks following a medical managed miscarrage and had to have an erpc on saturday due to retained products!

Go and get another scan an internal one even if you are testing negitive!

I know it hurts my pelvis still hurts now!!! It felt like my insides were gonna fall out front and back and my hipps hurt too from time to time!

Please dont ignore it go get checked out it may be infection or retained products. It could just be your ligaments being loose due to hormones but dont do as i did and ignore it!

I had two 9 week miscarriages. Both were natural, so I have no experience with the pill, but I know all about the pain. With the first, I wasn't able to walk properly for the better part of a week. Stairs were my biggest challange. If the pain gets to be too much, or it can't be helped with ibuprophen or tylenol, go see your doctor. Don't worry about hassling them, that's what they are there for. Please take care hun

Hi

I'd get it checked out, better safe than sorry. With me the pain was over completely by the next morning (I miscarried naturally), I may have been one of the lucky ones but many ladies on here have had really awful pain that really started after everything came out; and it was an indicator of something not being quite right so please do look into it.

Sophie x

I'm really sorry to hear about that, I had a miscarriage at 6 and a half weeks, so again no experience with the tablet you were given.

I wasn't really informed what would happen, and what pain I would go through. I actually looked up others experience on the internet which gave me peace of mind, as I was in alot of pain, luckily only for around three days plus my cycle came back exactly 28 days after.

But, if you haven't already I would definatley at least ring your Dr, at least it will give you peace of mind.

x
