question about d & c

Tomorrow will be 1 week since I had a D & C following an mmc. I expected to bleed a lot but never really did. I had very light bleeding for the first day or two but nothing really since. Just a little bit of red when I wipe (sorry if tmi). Is this the way it is? Should I have bled more? I don't have my follow up for another week and a half.

Hi

I never had a d&c so cannot help from personal experience but I've heard some ladies do bleed very lightly afterwards and not for a long time; it depends on when in your pregnancy you were. Hope the follow-up goes well!

I've had only a little spotting as well, but really bad cramping. I hope you're doing alright otherwise

I bled heavily when i woke up from it but not very much after until a full week later when it lasted a few hours then stopped completely.I think its differant for everyone sorry i couldnt be more help,

I just had one on Friday and I was wearing only a panty liner by Sat with hardly any bleeding at all. I haven't taken any pain pills today and I feel fine. Tomorrow may be a different story because I go back to work

I bled fairly lightly for a week or so, I think cos most of it is removed it can be quite light...

i had d & c on saturday and the bleeding was semi heavy for first 24 hrs and now has gone to stop and start nothing for 10 hrs then a little flood but nothing heavier than a nasty period so far.

Hi paige,

I had a D and C 6 weeks ago i bled for that day and the following day and after that it was only very light spotting. I bled before I had my Dand C so i don't know if that affected it. I never had a follow up appointment tho.

I had my D&C yesterday and some bleeding right after surgery. Today haven't bled hardly anything, mostly cramps. If you dont bleed I think you are healing just well. Don't worry
