I certainly am banking on being more fertile!! my friend who had a miscarriage last month was told you are, as your body now knows what it is to be pregnant, and is prepared like never before..
im gonna try as soon as , but i guess i can pass on any new info once ive been at the hospital on friday...
Ive also been told that if you want to try again as soon as to just keep on doing what you have been doing before you got pregnant i.e keep on taking the folic acid etc...
ps. when im not in the dumps about this situation im actually looking forward to ttc again and i shall try my darndest not to get to upset about it but enjoy the journey and the hope it brings for the future, all the best and hugs!! xx | Here's an update: i had my d&c yesterday, all went well and i honestly feel magic the midwife said i would ovulate in 3-4 weeks and that we could try again if we wanted right away.. and yes, she said dr's like it all neat and like a period to date things from bt she said go for it-- and we will | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi,
Don't mean to but in...i had a natural mc 1/30 and was told to wait one cycle to ttc again. I've reading everything i could get my hands on and i'm going with the school of thinking that says waiting for a cycle is to predict a EDD. I plan on testing in a week if my UTI didn't preventing us from BD around O. Good luck! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | My mums best friend is a midwife, had she advised me to try straight away, i think the reasons why they tell you to wait, is purely for dating reasons and so they see that you've had a first normal period.
The friend who is a midwife, miscarried herself, and she lost alot of blood ( basically it wasn t straight forward ) , but after she got pregnant 6 weeks after.
Every women is different and some have complications , but soon as your gyna. has give you the all clear, you should try again.
Test yourself with some ovulation tests to check when your ovulation, keeping taking folic acid etc. | | | | Status: Online

I'm Currently Feeling: | Just wanted to add.. if your body isnt ready to conceive, i.e. lining after mc not back to normal, the bean won't stick and you wont get pg proper.. so, basically, your body will only get pg again when its ready.
Which i personally feel to be a bit of a relief about.. one less thing to worry about, if that makes sense, xxx | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi, I have had 5 miscarriages and all have said the same - there is no medical reason to wait for a period other than it is easier to date the due date. Unless it has been an ectopic pregnancy, you can try again right away if you feel up to it. I would say that I tried this twice and both times I miscarried again so it may be better to wait a month or so. However, that is just my way of thinking. My sister had a m/c then conceived the next month to a successful pregnancy.
