How did you cope with your EDD

Mine is at the end of Jan and seems to be fast approaching. I don't know how to deal with it, its a Sunday so glad I won't be at work but know that I will be upset for a while after, I have gone from not really thinking about it all for weeks to crying my eyes out every day again.

Would you take a few days off work or go in. I know that if I do go in although I will be busy I will be thinking about everything and not be myself

Did you do anything to mark the day or did you not want to think about it. I don't know what I am supposed to do.

Don't know how I will cope. It was so early for me but my friend is now due just 2 weeks after so I keep comparing that to what I would have had...makes it hard to take my mind off it. Mine will be on a Thursday...suppose I dont know how I will actually feel until the day. Hugs to you x

Mine is not till April so a little while away yet but really not looking forward to it. Will probably mark it in some positive way, like have a day out with my husband.

Have a friend who is 3 weeks ahead of where I was and I have to face seeing her every day. Difficult to see her where I should have been too. Think it will be very hard when April comes, then again when she has her baby in May. My husband just doesn't get...

I had set up the baby development thing on askbaby.com. Logged on there yesterday and felt a huge pain as I saw where my baby should have been Word of advice - don't do it!

I'm not sure what I will do. I believe I will have a quiet day at the park or maybe go out of town for the day. I think I will feel very emotional but I suppose it depends on what happens between now and then.

I know what you mean about the baby development. I would now be 17 weeks and I opened one of the e-mails the other day that showed what my babies would look like and it was so very hard. I don't recommend doing it either!

Hey hun. Despite my best efforts, my original EDD (3 Feb 10) still comes into my mind. Partly because it's the day before my birthday When I got my latest I thought it would be okay because I'd be pregnant with this one, but as you know, that wasn't to be either. I think for me, the only thing that could make it more bearable would be to be pregnant again.
