MC today - how much pain is ok - i was 4 +6

Hello ladies

just need some advice i was 4 +6 days and this morning noticed a little spotting. I have then been bleeding quite heavily since abut 10 am this morning (12 hrs now). the cramping was not bad earlier just a little bloated. Now the pain is getting worse.

I have spoken to the dr and they have said if i want to I can o to A&E but they will probably only refer for a scan in 10 days or so. I dont really want to go and sit in A&E for hours.

I have had mc b4 but that was at 12 weeks so i dont know what pain i should be expecting. Is it supposed to just be similar to af pain.

If anyone has had an early MC please can youlet me know what symptons i should be getting.

Thanks

So sorry to hear you are going thru this. I had a natural m/c at 10 weeks. It was pretty painful for about 4 hours. I was bleeding thru more than 3 pads an hour and was a bit scared by that so I went to the hospital, only to just wait there for hours and miscarry there. I probably could have just stayed home but I was all alone and worried I may have fainted or passed out. I didn't know what to expect. After I miscarried at the hospital the doctors looked inside and made sure everything had passed before I left so in a way that gave me a bit of closure upon leaving the hospital.

I'm sorry sweetie, only you yourself can know your pain tolerance and what you can handle. If you are really worried I would go to the hospital. Hope you do ok. xx

im really sorry to hear this! I had one at the weekend too at 4+5. I put it down to a chemical. The bleeding was pretty heavy...tmi but like it flowed out! The pain was crampy but nothing major. I did not need pain killers. Ive bleeding lasted 4 days. I really hope you feel better soon.

I was 9 weeks, but baby stopped growing at 6. I MC naturally at home and the pain (and contractions) were pretty severe.....over the counter painkillers didn't touch it at all.

Luckily, the worst of it was over in about 8 hours or so

Hi thank you for all your comments.

I am still in a bit of pain but dont think i need to go to the hospital. I am still bleeding but my doc said if it is really heavy then may have an infection. So FX i dont.
