Thank you baby-cakes! A week ago I was completely mad searching for some info on shoulder pain after GAs but no info on Net. Thanks to you lovely ladies, who share your experience and also in future this thread will give some info to someone else.

I had couple of more mentions of post-op shoulder pain on EPT trust website and quite a few people have had this problem.

x

mrav,
So sorry for you loss. I too have had two ectopics. Both times the gas only lasted for a week. I would also suggest taking some of the pain meds to be able to move around and get that trapped gas out. Best of Luck hun.

Thank you. Did you have both the ectopics on the same tube or diff tubes?

Hope you don't mind me asking.

No dont mind at all. They were both on the same tube but ironically had my surgeries six years apart to the day. My doctor brought that to my attention and becuase it was the same side we decided to just remove the R tube for fear it would continue to happen on that same side. I did have a few MC's inbetween so I know something was working right and since the tube was removed I had a chemical. So still very hopeful. Have they talked about doing an HSG to see if the tube is open at a later date. I believe I had one with the first ectopic at about 2 months to see if the tube was still good at that time it appeared to be open.
