I'm Currently Feeling:

The beginning of the end.

I was at work, when I felt a rush, kinda like a peed myself. I went to the toilet and found blood, not dark blood, but light blood and a fair bit of it and it was still coming. So I was able to leave work and went to the hospital.

After trying to get blood twice from both my hands and finally after a bit of prodding the doctor got some from my arm (he wanted to leave a thing in in case I needed a drip). Blood tests were taken and an internal was done. Turns out my cerviz has opened slightly. So i'm going for an ultrasound in the morning to find out the verdict. But chances are im going to lose my baby.

I never thought i'd grow so attched after only 8wks, but I cried, I bawled. Still am crying. Am hanging onto the little bit of hope that it's still there. The doctor said theres a chance it's a threaded miscarriage. Not a real big idea what it is but I know that it means the cervix opens slightly and you still stay pregnant.

My mum had a miscarriage after 13wks between me and my bro so she's a help. It just sucks. I hate this feeling, and I hate that I don't want to be around justin. I don't want to hug him or be touched by him, this isn't normal. I should want him to be the one who consoles me. I feel horrible coz I know he really wanted this baby.

This sucks.

When they use the term "threatened miscarriage," alot of people freak out. I know I did when I was bleeding. As soon as the doctor said those two words I couldn't stop crying.

And when I thought I was miscarrying I didn't want my OH around because I felt like I was failing, when I wasn't.

I hope they can sort things for you, and your bean sticks!

Thanks for your support ladies. It's so hard going through this, and I don't even know why. I never wanted to get pregnant in the first place but the idea grew on me when i found out i was.

Toria- Did your cervix open at all when u got told u might miscarry? Thats whats scaring me the most. I'm praying that my beautiful bean sticks.

I really hope your baby is still there!! It's quite common to have bleeding but you just can't tell. Fingers crossed for you though.

I know what you mean about your OH though. I've thought if anything goes wrong how will I face OH feeling like I'd have let him down but I think it's just a natural reaction to the situation.

Nah my cervix didn't open, and I'd advise you not to look it up on the internet and just listen to the doctors. They'll tell you what you need to know, no need to worry yourself unless they give you reason to. Good luck!

Thanks, its not looking promising. I know sometimes its natural to have bleeding, but its alot and its not good if my cervix is opened a bit. It's weird though coz I don't have any pains. I had like less than 5mins of cramping and then nothing. Surely if I was losing it then i'd feel some pain.

Aparently you can get a stitch to stop it from opening anymore, maybe you should ask your doctor about that?
