oh god what a day ive had--

woke up 10am bad tummy pains and feeling drunk? (havent touched a drop for 3 months). went to toliet and well string clot (sorry) then the bleeding started filled 2 pads in one hour then a 3rd in the next hour pain like Monday all over again!

Felt dizzy, relaxed then passed another clot about the size of half an egg! Grr i thought this was all over with.

I rang EPU they said go in for internal but that wont tell them anything other than cervix open or close! so pointless.

Rang docotors who sen a gp out to check me as i refused to go to hospital again. They did try and scare me into going by saying i could have a cervical shock!!!! i mean what would be the point i.e medical managed they will look and tell me if what i passed was everything or not but NO they tell me we dont know!!!!! wait 10 days

Doctor who came out said hmmm normal to bleed heavy ans pass small clots for up to 4 days after and normal to bleed for 3 weeks. plus preg test in 10 days likley to be positive so scan will be needed after that to check all gone.

I really am fed up now all i want is to be told yes you have passed most of the tissue and there will be some left but not much or no you still have loads to pass or yup youve passed it all just the lining of the womb and period like bleeding to go!

They wont put me on the scan ive tried pushing all the buttons i still feel preg smptons as well as feeling very unwell. I asked about antibiotics for prevention to infection they said no! I asked for early scan they said would show enough! Iam fed up the extra stress is driving me mad!

I want to know when its safe to get in my car and drive e.t.c i.e because if i experiance what happend today again while driving i would have crashed! so how can i go on as normal when i dont know if my body is gonna collapse on me or when it will if it will!

I swear once this is all over i will research this entire area to see what inconsitancy there are u.k wide to treatment and advice. As i have had that many conflicting bits of info given i am in complete despair!

Sorry for ranting just think its important for people/others to know what goes on sometimes!

honey i would get to hospital on gyn ward or epu. I had a very simular experience and you will continue to loose lots of blood if you have not fully miscarried i had mm for mmc and three days later when still bleeding and my family said i looked like i was fadding away they finally scaned me the whole lot was still there dispite a massive amount of loss. I ended up collapsing and being rushed to theater for ercp. i have now been of work for 8weeks as i ended up with hb of 7!! I put a complaint in and have requested copies of my medical record. I was my 7th mc and i kept saying i still feel preg but im bleeding and i know something is wrong. Take your hubby and get scaned especially if bleeding still. pm me if you want to rant in private and please let us know how you are

thanks, the bleeding has stopped after passing another clot and i am again feeling a little better if not very tired! I am going to take it easy and see how i feel tomorrow. Fingers crossed it was just some leftover from Monday the scary part is not knowing but i will keep going at them to get a scan if it starts up again.

Hun your post nearly had me in your treatment has really been totally unfair and negligent, it is really terrible how things vary so much from area to area (while my treatment was good when it came to miscarriage; from having other kids I know the overall pre-natal and maternity care in this area is disgraceful and I needed counselling after bad experiences during pregnancy and birth of my first; so its swings and roundabouts really). I really think you should complain, and if you experience any heavy bleeding again please do get on at them for a scan. My bleeding has stopped now (stopped after 5 days) which is a pretty good sign everything is gone; but I have a scan booked in a week and they still do a scan here as a first port of call, its probably expensive for them to scan everyone but they want to be better safe than sorry.

ok i am determined to get back on my feet!!!! Still have alot of pain in lower back (i.e cant walk very fast or far) feel totally drained very dizzy no appatite struggling to get outta bed (not emotional more physical). However today i decided to take no painkillers as i want to know what and where i am really hurting still.

Bleeding has slowed again as it did last Tuesday still passing string like clots but not the same as what i think are parts of the sac am hoping thats all passed now!!!

Still feel preg sickness though driving me mad! but am determined to try and move forward i cant bear feeling like this down moody, tearfull, angry e.t.c its not doing me any good!

Have and am making an effort to try and eat however everything and time i do eat i feel very sick mix of preg and bad stomach.

Does anyone know if this is normal to loose appatite? I am of slight build so loosing weight is not a good thing for me (5ft 5 and 8 stone). Iam worried that the dizziness/feeling drunk (best i can do to describe) along with throbing stabing pains in private area are bad signs or if they are normal healing signs?

Very confused but trying hard not to over worry and just get on with things again!

what you're experiencing does sound worrying this many days later so I'd get it looked in to (its normal to feel dizzy and loss of appetite etc perhaps for a few hours on the day when most of the stuff is coming out; but it should pass and you should feel considerably better). It could be an infection especially considering they didn't give you any antibiotics. If I were you I'd go to A&E (not sure how many hospitals you have local but if you worry the one nearest to you where you went for the MMC is no good then try to go to a different one if poss) take any notes you have (if you still have your preg notes) and let them know what is happening and how much pain you are in. When I started bleeding I had similar and they did loads of tests, blood cultures etc there and then and though they couldn't find any infection they gave me antibiotics to cover me anyway and said its pretty much routine.

o.k tried real hard to have a normal day, woke up early feeling less grogy and dizzy so it may have been the pain killers i was taking.

Hardly any bleeding all day!!! First day without any clots.

However got to 5pm and started to get cramping pains in front of stomach ignored them, light spotting but pale pinkish not the deep red.

However for the last 2 hours have started bleeding again and it has got darker to deep red again, thus far no clots and certainly not heavy heavy bleeding.

MAIN CONCERN is the pressure i am feeling above my bladder like something is trying to explode out strange feeling but ona plus my back pain has eased of and i can actully walk about more without the pain!

Going to stay awake for a few hours and make sure the bleeding and cramping doesnt get worse and hope iam just being parinoid e.t.c as it is normal to have period like bleeding and iam sure because i forced myself to do more today thats why its happening. if however i start to pass clots again or the pain gets bad i will go to A & E its minutes from where i live.

Trying not to get carried away with worry at the moment.

Worst thing today has been my pregnancy sickness seems to have come back to haunt me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damm hormones!

It may not be preg sickness; some infections (esp. UTIs) can cause a very similar type of nausea and food aversions, so please please keep an eye on things hun and go to A&E if you feel anything may be at all amiss. Don't 'suffer in silence', infections can be treated easily with antibiotics but if they have become more advanced you may need the antibiotics intravenously which is not nice, believe me (especially with a needle phobia as I have). I've realised over the years that for some reason when it comes to gynacologically-related pain and probs (and other stuff in that area, i.e. kidneys); i have a stupidly high threshold of tolerance for them so they never feel as bad as to cause me concern so now I take action a lot sooner and my hunch is usually right (I still get asked 'are you SURE you didn't feel really ill? Because you should have done...'). When it comes to pain in other areas, say my limbs, I am in agony with a paper cut or a stubbed toe lol.

Well i have progress, took preg test today and it showed positive! Grrrrrr at least it means i am not insane though and havent just imagined all the preg symptons continuing.

I am concerned as to why my symptons seem to have increased in strength though i would have expected them to have at least remaind the same or tappered off a bit but for me they are getting stornger! AND I AM DEFFO NOT PREGANANT ANYMORE!)

I am going back to EPU of Friday for a scan to check all has been passed fingers crossed! (I really dont want a D & C)

My biggest worry at the moment though is my hip its killing started a couple od days ago its the actual bone its driving me mad am limping around its like have tooth ache and somebody hitting the tooth with a hammer permantly.

Fingers crossed this too will go away just concerns me as its a new pain but know if i go to docs they will say its just your ligaments softning with your hormones!!!! But yeah i know but surely the hormanes should be staying at the level they were and decreasing!!! This would mean they are increasing!

Think i may still be very angry at this drawn out mess!

I was so worried about u and still am. Glad they are finally giving you a scan to see what is going on! Hopefully you can get to the bottom of this once and for all...
