Funeral Help

Hi,

It's Evie's funeral on wednesday morning. I've just had the hospital chaplain round asking me what i want to happen at her funeral. I really don't know.

I was just wondering if anyone would share with me what they had at their Angels funeral? Order of service etc?

I really really dont know what i should do

Hope was buried with the other babies that had died ...I didnt go

somthing I always regret tho she as a tree now

...stay strong sweetie xxx

So sorry you're giong through this horrible time. For Emily's funeral I had 3 songs:
REM everybody hurts
Smashing Pumkins- Perfect
Robbie- Angels.
These songs were personal to me but if you look in the stillborn and neonatal section there is a thread about funeral songs, some people have picked really beautiful songs.
We all wore bright clothes as though we were going for a picnic.
The chaplain will help you with the order of service I was surprised by how strongly I knew what I wanted.
If you look at Hayley's thread (Alex's mum) she had a beautiful funeral for her gorgeous boy Alex and she and her partner released balloons for him.
I had a star named after Emily, a tree in the garden and a tattoo on my ankle but you will decide over time what's right for you.
I'm sure whatever you decide will be right to say goodbye to your beautiful Evie.
