i'm really sorry for your losses

as far as my consultant was concerned last week a chemical pg is counted as a pregnancy loss, i've had 2 in the last 6 months since i last saw him and he has counted both of them as a mc in my notes, the first i had 3 days of +tests starting at 11dpo and the second i had 6 days but were + from 9dpo

Oh yes it does.... sorry for your loss Rumpskin. I've had 2 and one at 7+3. All of them counted as miscarriages and I got tests that showed nothing wrong.......

It actually annoys me that some doctors and particularly PEOPLE don't understand that it is just as distressing for people even if it is an early mc.

Hope you are ok xx

Thanks Widger

I emailed the Miscarriage Association today to ask for some information on rmc.

They have always been so supportive and helpful.

They did mention that some doctors may not even recognise this as a pregnancy and therefore would not refer me. I know it is all down to money and funding blah blah blah but I dont think I could cope having another miscarriage in order for me to be tested. I think I would loose hope.

I also know that testing does not guarantee any answers as well.

Oh honey, I only just saw this, I am so sorry.

And yes, as far as I know you should be eligible for testing

They should count it. I have had one in between two other early miscarriages and they referred me.
