Unhappy

Hi Alison,

I am a newbie, only just found this website this morning.

I lost a baby 2 weeks ago, again it was a suspected ectopic..but they called it a Pregnancy of unknown location as they could not see sac or baby anywhere on my scans. I was 7 weeks gone.

I also had Methotrexate drug (2injections at once in butt cheak) I find it ok. I got the injection on wednesday then i started bleeding on Friday. It was a very painful period thoughbut apart from that i am ok now. My HCG was 1132 when i went for a follow up last thursday its down to 132 which is really great so hopefully i won't have to go back for weekly bloods for as long as i thought. I am due in again tomorrow morning.

How do you feel about the whole thing? The thing I find the hardest is that I have to go back to the maternity unit at the hospital for my HCG bloods test. It feels awful walking in the corridor with an empty belly. I feel like i shouldn't be there. Everyone seems to notice you when you don't have a bump.

Its nice to have found someooe that knows how i'm feeling. If you need to vent , im here, feel free!

Hi Alison, sending you gentle hugs as i know exactly how you feel. Ive had two Ectopic pregnancies with full surgery on both. Its just the worst experience ever. Have you tried speaking with the woman on The Ectoppic Pregnancy Trust, its a really great support
