I'm Currently Feeling:

Light blood, spotting, worried.

Good morning.

I woke up this morning feeling extremely sick, more sick than previous days. I am 6 weeks gone.
After dropping my son and daughter off at school I came home to find light coloured blood like spotting in my knickers, and on the tissue when I wiped.
Is this quite normal or is it possible that I am about to miscarry?
Would the blood get darker and thicker if that was the case?
I hope that you can help.
Thanks.

Hi Shimmy,

I would contact your doctor just in case. Lots of women get spotting of blood in pregnancy, but just contact them in case.

Good luck hun, I'm sure everything is fine.
