I'm feeling nervous - recurrent mc results

I have been trying to put it to the back of my mind but I get my recurrent miscarriage test results back tomo at the hospital with the consultant.

I keep trying to be positive and so far have been doing a good job of it, but now worrying that he might say I have problems, which in a way would be a good thing because it might be something we could sort, but obviously in another way it is so frightening in case we can't.....

Has anyone else been through this?

Arrggghhh sorry just wanted to vent some tension.

I'm getting some testing done now, but haven't really allowed myself to stop and think about it. I guess I'm just hoping that they'll find something small and it will be an easy fix.

I've done a lot of tests already, and I know what you mean about wanting to find an easy fix and being terrified that they'll find something/nothing all at the same time.
We'll be getting some genetic tests and further autoimmune tests beginning of May and hoping that it'll help us figure things out before we TTC again. For me I think what we find is going to be the deciding factor in if we try again... at least for awhile.
It's hard when all of your hopes, dreams and expectations for a family are riding on tests. Very scary stuff. I guess you just have to decide to be okay with whatever comes your way good or bad. Take it as it comes and try not to worry to much about the in betweens. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow hun. Big hugs hun.

Went today and apparently there is nothing wrong.... obviously great news but so annoying that I have been so incredibly unlucky.

Hope we all fair better next time x

I had my results today aswell! and they came back that there was nothing wrong aswell! BUT! My doctor also said, that they can only test for 50% of things over all, as Science isnt good enough to fully test for every single cause it could be!!

I know its tough, you almost want something to be wrong so you'd know what to fix, it is hard. All my test so far came back negative but i'm hoping to do further testing with the specialist soon. Glad so far so good for you though

Hi Widger,

I had my appointment for RCM back in february and they too told me nothing was wrong, just bad luck! Which I found harder to accept

However, through my own investigation and going back to see my Thyroid surgeon turns out I was on to much thyroxine (toxic levels) and low calcuim!

Hope you get a sticky bean soon.
