Seeing Dr Lesley Regan after 7 m/c

Hi there guys

I have recently had my 7th mc in Jan at 13wks and am now being referred to Dr Lesley Regan at St Marys in London.

I have had blood tests with my consultant at my local hospital and my results came back with a slight abnormality with my blood. He said this relates to antiphospholipid antibodies and was therefore was given fragmin injections 5000 daily and asparin and carried through until 13 weeks (which is the furthest ive got) but then unfortunetly lost again!

All the rest of my mc i had no help from the consultant as only went to him last year.

I have had one little girl who is now nearly 8 but was with a previous partner

We are so worried we cant have children together but still hold out some hope now we have our app with Dr Regan.

I am looking for anybody else in a similar situation or who has been to Dr Regan with success stories than can hopefully help us in our dispair!!!

Thanks everyone xx

Ive just been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid after having testing for mc's. Im starting medication saturday- i hope i can finally go full term next time, fingers crossed.

I dont know if any one here has been to see her but i wish you all the luck in the world - you sure deserve it!

Is this St Marys in Paddington? My mum had fertility treatment there and couldn't reccomend them highly enough.

hi there, am sorry for your losses, i have just gone through a second mc and can only imagine what you have been going through. I feel for you. Have been reading up on Prf Regan and hear wonderful things about her work in the hospital. In fact, I am hoping to get a referral to her too, once i see my GP as I have a long history of unexplained in fertility followed by two natural pregnancies which ended up in miscarriages, so am hoping that I can get in too. Please let me know how it goes - would love to have your feedback. best of luck too! xxx

Can I just applaud you for having the courage and strength to keep going.

I've had 3 mc and feel it very daunting the prospect of getting pregnant again... if I can. People love to say to you 'the good thing is you can actually get pregnant' doesn't help when you keep having multiple mcs. I really hope they find out what is wrong and you've made me think I can keep trying if it happens again xx
