I'm Currently Feeling:

I was involved in a serious car crash on my way to my 20 week detailed scan which left me needing to learn to walk again ...... had cracked tail bone (yes labour was awful and cracked it again after it was starting to heal ) , broken right foot and dislocated left ankle ( i can walk now with a stick ) due to being preg my body didnt heal the way it would normally without the raging hormones and Ive been told by my specialist I wont recover properly for at least another year +

Being pregnant and going around in my wheel chair was awful for me, but it gave me a real view into what it must be like for people that are in wheelchairs, and I have a new found respect for anyone disabled. I dont think people really think about it until its effected them in some way. And being preg and in a wheelchair well 100% respect to any woman in that position.

The looks and the whispers were really upsetting , even now I still have a lot of pain and I struggle walking far so cant take my little one out for walks like I did with my previous 2 kids, pushing the buggy is like when I had my zimmer frame but I cant go far without the pain in my back(tail bone) and legs swelling up, Ebonii is now 12 weeks and i have only taken her out a handful of times and it wasnt very far, and because I still limp/walk funny (so im told) the looks I get and still the whispers it drives me insane ..... but enough of my ranting and self pity

I just wanna say full respect to anyone with a disablity that has kids or is going to have kids you are amazing x

MrBum and Anna get the awww cute approach - we tend to go everywhere together as a family... and Anna and I get on well... no one dares to give me grief...

or my baby will think it has its own set of wheels and he'll soon learn how to play in my chair and run you ignorant buggers over!

you'll be fine hun just ignore the people who can't see past your wheel chair your disabled not useless
ROFL! My nan made the mistake of remarking "He didn't get you pregnant, you got him pregnant!", so I quickly replied, "Oh no, Nan, He's a right go-er; Doggy style all the way!" Should have seen her face - funnily enough, she hasn't made any comments on his disability since then! lol
