i feel like this from time to time, and did before i got pregnant. i put it down to being quite a quiet person who enjoys their own company...don't like being crowded or having to fit in with what everyone else is doing all of the time. i've gotten used to the feeling and i get out of the house! we mysteriously run out of toilet paper quite often, and then 'find' it again at the back of a cupboard...i just need half an hour to myself..there's no crime in that! (Being pregnant makes it worse though)

I am a quiet person who likes my time and sometimes my kids really get to me. I like my peace and quiet sometimes but my kids can either talk my ear off, start bickering, play loudly, or just plain not listen to me.

It can be tough at times and you wouldn't be human if you said your child(ren) were perfect little beings who never got on your nerves.

This thread has made me feel normal, lol. Its not just me that gets stressed with day to day life.
I think another factor is the routine, you need a routine to cope when you have kids, but the same thing day in day out get a bit repetitive and annoying after a while and you feel you need to escape.

I often lock myself away in bedroom for 10 minutes or so and just relax.

My OH says that I go to the store quite often. Wonder why?

I also get up at 5:30 a.m. every morning just so I have a few hours peace before my kids and OH get up. Yes, sleep is nice but if I don't have those few hours to myself and wake up late, my whole day is wrecked.
