I am planning to have an end of the year picnic for my son and daughter, or will try to anyhow as June is an awful busy month with end-of-the-year events. Each child can invite a few close friends over, and as for Amanda, I will invite all the girls from her Grade 1 class.

Also, Amanda is invited to a bday party for one of these girls on Sunday.

Things seem to be getting a bit better as I haven't heard that she's been playing by herself lately.

Thank you hon! I will even swallow my pride and invite the one girl over who left Amanda out of her bday party a few months ago.

YAY! Two girls this week asked if they could have a play date with Amanda. So she has one on Friday and one on Sunday. Things are starting to look up, it seems!

She was also invited to these girl's birthday parties this past month.

I've missed the entire thread but i hope i can just leave a quick message:P

my sister is five years old, and it's pretty much the same. except, when she goes to tell the teacher about the other girls they all charge and beat her to it so she gets into trouble - and funnily enough the teacher don't look into it at ALL

she has been crying randomly these past few weeks about these girls and shes not even been in school because of the holidays. she gets seriously tense in the morning when she has her bath and only relaxes when she's told there is no school today.

another thing that keeps cropping up is the colour of my sisters hair. yes it's ginger, but it's actually gorgeous - lots of ringlets too, and im not saying that because she related to me, a lot of people commented on it (surprisingly jealous? oh yes). strangely, these other five year old girls are giving her crap because she "has orange hair". i couldnt believe she was getting stick for this in reception!

little girls are nasty pieces of work sometimes - now a days especially- and i can tell you, they dont stay "little girls" for long! it sounds really bad but my god dont you just want to give them future-bullies a smack before they get started?! xx
