Well, first of all, my daughter was jumping around, etc. by 11 a.m. that day. ROFL
Yesterday I parked across the street from her school at lunchtime and watched and she seemed to be playing with a few girls in her class. I am going by there in a bit too to check and see what is happening.
I've decided to arrange some play dates with a few of the girls, one-on-one within the next week which may change things between them. I personally think it may just help!

Just looked at your lil girls age too - these days even the younger children are getting quite spiteful not just the dreaded teens. Its sad! Starting to dread what it will be like for Moo when its her time to go to school!

You know, we have all these anxieties when pregnant about symptoms etc. The anxieties never, ever go away as there are always new ones when baby comes and is growing from toddler to school age to teenager.
It is very sad that it happens this early and is a heartbreaker!

It is sad that it happens this early but i remember it when i was in primary school (im not your best friend anymore cos you slided off!!! ) still, on a positive note, its all experience....it will be the same throughout her whole school life...even worse in secondary/high school...heartbreaking all the same though
Kids can be horrible sometimes. At the minute my sister is trying to fit in with the 'cool' crowd and they're horrible to her. They use her and none of them even got her a birthday card. A few times they've invited her to meet them while they've been out shopping and when she's got there they've been nowhere to be found. But she's always making excuses for them and is won't see how horrible and bitchy they are. I was always such a lovely child =]
I had a rough year in grade 5. Mom told me she was heart broken over it, but I personally didn't realize myself that I was having a hard time until I looked back on it when I was older. Maybe your daughter doesn't realize that the other kids are being that way towards her. She might be oblivious that they're being mean in general, and just thinking that it was just that day? Maybe you see it more than she does because you're more aware of it. I hope things get better though, because that is a sin if thats how it is.
