Montessori preschool...

I am just curious if anyone can provide insight into Montessori...I would like to enroll Lakai when he is clearly much older! LOL But I have some questions...

What benefits did you find came from your LO being in this type of schooling?

Was there any negatives?

Did it better/or not prepare them for regular/public schooling?

How did you find it differed from other preschools?

How involved were you in the program?

Thanks!

My son hasn't been involved in any of the Montessori schooling but i often borrow a book from the library called 'How to raise an amazing child : the Montessori way to bring up a caring, confident child' by Tim Seldin and think its BRILLIANT!
I have adopted a few of the ideas from the book and it makes me feel so positive about being a parent Good luck, and i hope it works for you x
