awww so proud

My niece was over today, and she was doodling and stuff, she's 4 years old, but couldn't write her name, she could do some random letters but not write all her name, so we sat together for half an hour and she can now write her name, I'm really proud of her!

My cousin was 18 months, she's just turned 2, she can write some words, and read a couple of words, but she is quite advanced for her age, I think. I remember writing my name before I started nursery and writing short stories (like 3 sentences long and stuff) but I remember alot of children at school not being able to write their names until half way through reception class.

I'm not really a good person to comment on this though, but I think it differs for each child.
