Hello everyone! I've always been truly fascinated by pregnancy, birth, and the way babies grow and develop. While doing a bit of casual research on the subject, I found this place and decided to join.
I'm happily engaged to the most wonderful man in the world, but we're not planning on trying to conceive for a while. At the moment we're not even close to being financially stable enough to give a baby the care it deserves. Fingers crossed that it won't take too long for that to change!
For the time being, I'm interested in learning about the physical and mental changes women go through as they try to conceive and as they go through pregnancy. For the most part, I'll probably just be lurking. I don't have much helpful information to offer other than what my mother (a retired midwife) has tought me and what I've learned in books, but my prayers and emotional support go out to those of you who are trying to conceive or going through pregnancy.
