| Pregnant (Expecting) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Feb 2010 Location: South Africa Posts: 843 | Introducing you to myself and my country livin' life Sometimes I can't logically explain why I want children - I just know I do. I mean, there are already too many people in this world, why would I want to add another one? But I'm leaving these thoughts behind as I start ttc. I want to be a mom. I want to be pregnant, give birth, hold my little one, read stories and just give love unconditionally. Sometimes I am afraid that I won't be a good mom - but I believe that I'll be a great mom. My whole life long, growing up on a farm, I have been nurturing things. Animals, mostly. Raising countless orphan lambs, calves, birds, pups, kittens etc... It is who I am. Motherhood seems to be the ultimate act of nurturing and caring. It is just such a tremendous responsibility. However, I am looking forward to joining you all on this incredible journey. Here is a place I can voice my fears and concerns - living on a farm, near a small town, this will be one of the very few places I can do so. I am a housewife/farmer, spending a lot of time looking after animals and doing general health care and supervision on the ostriches we raise. I also love to cook but am terrible with housework! Thanx to everybody who will join me in this journey, who will give guidance, advice or just be there when it is needed most.  |
