Trying to get pregnant

Hello to all, I'm jane I have been married for one year now and still we find it hard to get pregnant. My husband works in a semiconductor company where he had a very erratic schedule. Like for now he works 12pm to 10pm. Does his schedule affect our difficulty in getting pregnant. its been two months now that we are making love in my fertile days. Do we have to take any fertility vitamins? Are there special diet for those trying to get pregnant?
