Hi,

My name is Ruth (21), and i live with my Husband Duncan (27) in the north west. We have been waiting to try for a while now, but now that we are married we have decided to try and concieve. I have just finished my last pill packet and i'm suppose to start another tomorrow, but i'm not planning to. We are just going to take a relaxed approach and allow things to take their time and things will come when they come. I am so excited and yet nervous about having a baby, but i suppose every first time mother and father are going to be nervous about everything!

Joined up here for information, make new friends etc, so nice to meet you all!

I took the same approach as you to TTC and after stopping the pill, it took two cycles (the month I stopped and the following) before conceiving so hopefully your TTC journey will be short.

And yeah it's a scary thought but sooo exciting!! Best of luck x
