I'm new - found out I was expecting last Tuesday after 3 years of trying and now I am the most nervous wreck in the world! I'm 5 weeks and two days pregnant and I'm suffering from spotting and cramps. Thanks to this website I know that this is a fairly common event and I'm just taking it easy and not trying to jump at every little twinge and piece of pink toilet paper. Any advice anyone? I'm fairly overweight and suffer PCOS too - so I'm watching my sugar and salt intake to be on the safe side. Not got a midwife app until 7/12. Should I go badger the doc for an earlier one? Again, so glad to read there are literally hundreds of women like me out there jumping at everything!  |

She's going to run some blood tests for me - NEXT MONDAY is the first appointment they have available!!!! Still spotting, on and off. The GP said it should calm down soon, but to go back if it gets worse. I must check at least twice an hour! But at least the cramps have gone. Thanks for your support ladies, I know I'll be leaning on you for the next 8 months!  |
