Update -

still spotting last night and then this morning after walking the dog it got a little worse. I couldn't go to work and sit worrying at my PC all day so I took myself off to A&E.
They were really nice, especially as I burst out crying at the reception desk, and they've took some bloods and I'm booked into the EPU tomorrow at 9am. Hopefully they will do a scan and put my mind at rest. The doctor I saw told me the spotting is either nothing to worry about or it's the start of a miscarriage.
So now I'm at home, I know it's not going to help much but I'm not going to do a damn thing until I go to that appointment tomorrow!

Well I went for a scan today and was told I am just 5 weeks pregnant - due to my PCOS my cycle is very unpredictable!

I saw my little egg sac, nothing more than a 3mm blip on the screen. The nurse was very nice and gave me lots of advice - I was probably still having implantation bleeding and my lining was nice and thick, she said when the egg burrows in occasionally it will burrow into a big blood vessel and hey presto, that's where the blood comes from.
My hcg level was 458 yesterday so I've got to go back tomorrow for another blood test to make sure it has doubled.
Fingers crossed!
