Im not sure if I have joined in the right place, need to be on a miscarriage forum really i think?!

My name is Hayley and I have just suffered my 3rd miscarriage last week.

I had a missed m/c june last yr, baby died at 8 weeks
Then I gave birth to a little boy (luke) at 18 weeks in Oct last year - lost my fluid and he died, bless him
Waited a year and have now had a missed m/c again baby died at 8 weeks

I have a few questions and was really hoping someone on here may be able to help??

How long do the blood test/results take to come back?
How long did you guys take off work with miscarriage? This one has hit me the worst by far. I went back to work yesterday but cried every time anyone spoke to me so I went home. Have now been signed off until next week. Im worried I will get in trouble with work after lots of time off over the last 2 years. But I cannot!! control my emotions, anyone else like this?

Totally gutted as doctor said today I cant try again on my own, I need to wait for results and doctors guidance...

Gutted, any advise would be gratefully recieved xxxxxxx

Sorry to hear of your sad circumstances. There is a miscarriage and loss support section within this site, so I'd definitely advise you post in there. All the ladies are very supportive, wherever you post, but in terms of answering your questions, they are probably best placed to help.

So sorry you are going through this, i have had 7 mc and the ladies on here are really very supportive. I have just seen post regarding your situation and thought i would find you

I think you need to take as much time off as you need to, in all of my mc the time i have had off has ranged from 4weeks to 3 months depending on situation. I have lost my angels at 8(2),9(2),10, 11 and 14 weeks its different for everyone but i know your pain and really feel for you.
As for the test it depends what test they have done chromosone/tissue (?spelling)can take up to 3months depending if they were doing any blood tests at same time. You need to find out what test they wil be doing.

Its awful but if you wait it may give you some answers.That has to be a good thing.
Look after yourself and take more time off you need to heal a little. Tomorrow when i light my rememberance candles at 7pm i will be thinking of you and you little ones.pm me if you need to talk.
