 dvt ?????????
hi there im new here not sure if im in the right place!! i am 33 years old and we have been trying for a baby for 5 months now we have a 13 year old daughter,
i developed a dvt from knee to groin when i 18 years old and was 7 months pregnant with her i was in hospital for 8 weeks and on a heparin infusion pump for 2 weeks then twice daily injections of heprin for 6 weeks. i then went onto warfarin for 12 months and myself and daughter are healthy otherwise, i have just recently seen a specialist and she is happy for me to try conceiving and has given me approx a 5% chance of this happening again i will be on a drug called clexane from 6 weeks gestation and warfarin for 12 months + after pregnancy i still get pain in my leg and have just had another thrombothilia screening done this year as i have had every year since my daughter was born i am scared and just would like to speak to other people in similar circumstances as i was not with my current partner when this happened first time around so he didnt really see the implacations this has on family memebers although he is fully supportive thanks for reading
