| Trying to conceive (TTC) Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: St. George, Utah Posts: 2 | Newby Hi everyone, I'm 26 and the mother of a three-year-old boy. It took my husband and I two years to get pregnant the first time, and we've been trying again for a year and a half now for another baby. I never did go to a doctor when it took so long the first time, but I'm much less patient this time around and made an appointment with a OBGYN. At the appointment, we decided my husband's sperm count should be checked, and that I would have a blood test to determine if I ovulate and produce eggs when I should. Haven't had my blood test yet (Going on August 10th) but the doctor called to happily report that my hubby has the highest sperm count he's ever seen.  Yes, hubby is very proud. When 20 Million is considered good, he's at a level of 84 Million. Anyway, that means the problem is all on me. We don't have a lot of money to spend on infertility measures, but I'm hoping to learn something with the blood test. Best of luck to everyone else TTC and I'll post updates! |
