| Trying to conceive (TTC) Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 1 | recent bad ttc news... new here Hi all, i came accross this website when searching for advice on TTC. Myself and my partner have been ttc for 2 years, we were reffered to our local fertility clinic, where we were told we will not be able to have a baby of our own, unless we pay for our own IVF - ICSI. I am overweight and already have a child from a previous relationship. my partner has no children, and has been told his sperm count is rapidly getting lower and lower. We are in space at the minuite, as we cannot afford more than one try of IVF and have been told the chances are actually quite slim. So where to go from here? Adoption, or sperm donor? I know this is a decision to be made ourselves but would greatly appreciate some advice from other people who have found themselves in similar situations. Many thanks  |
