Introduce Yourself

Hi all!

My husband and are in the process of TTC...I posted in that forum before coming here.

I'm 28 and my DH is 32. We were married in 2005 and have been not using any contraception since the fall of 2005. My first pregnancy in November 2006 ended in miscarriage around Christmas and it took quite a bit of time afterwards to get things back on track...both physically and emotionally. We are trying to take the laid back approach to this whole thing, but that's super difficult when we want it to happen so bad!!!

I have a bicornuate uterus which adds to the increased risk of miscarriage so that is always in the back of my mind. Just keep hoping that when it does happen the little one picks a good place to implant!

My cycles are fairly long and this is the first month I've stuck with OPKs to the point where I got a positive test (Thurs Aug 23rd). So this is the week where either AF shows up...or we can start to smile a bit...with a bit of anxiety too;-)

Hope to chat lots here and find out how everyone else is doing with the battle.....if you are anything like us, we tried so long no to get pregnant and now that we want it so bad, it just isn't happening as quickly as one would like!!
