CTC, income support or JSA?

I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me if possible. DH lost his job just before christmas, & is currently still out of work. I am coming to the end of my ordinary mat leave, & it has already been agreed with my works that I was taking the extra 3 months unpaid leave before DH lost his job. We are currently getting WTC as at the moment I am still classed as working, but when I go onto the additional Mat leave, they class you as not working, so I wouldn't be entitled to the WTC element. Now my question is, because we will have NO wages coming in, do we have to claim for JSA, income support, or do you get that money paid with your CTC when you have children - I keep reading different things on different sites & am so confused, I don't want to mess things up as things are soo tight as they are, I can't afford to lose any more money!!!!!
Hope someone can help me pleeaaassseee!!!!

You will both have to make a joint JSA claim ,but will get Healthy Start vouchers, child benefit and tax credits as well. x

Thank you. I thought so, but didn't want to go making a claim & mess everything up.
