Pregnancy's effect on your relationship

Ok so I must admit that not "all" of me is comfortable with my pregnancy just yet. I do have some worried which I was hoping some of you on here could talk about with me. My OH and I are not married yet. And don't intend to marry until 2008 maybe 2009.

Needless to say, when we do get married there will be a third person in our family. I have always wanted to spend some "alone time" with my hubby at least 2-3 years in a marriage before having children. But now that is no longer an option and I am wondering how that will affect our marriage.

A big part of me feels as though we will be missing out on something very special and important. At the same time I try not to think of it because it is not something I can change and I am trying to stay positive. Could you share your opinions on this with me, especially if you have been through this situation.

I married my husband when Charlie was 6 months old, It was wonderful having our little chick at the wedding at to be honest it madet the day much more special.

I do sometime wish we had been on more special holidays together, but I have no regrets. You can still have lots of fun with LO's around, times are so special in a different way.

Stay positive, it is a bit over whelming isnt it, seems your life is going to be so different. But I promise its all great changes!

Thanks ladies! That has helped bring me back to reality. I was quite overwhelmed at how our lives would change. I guess it will still take me some time to get use to.
