| Holy crap I cant believe how expensive nappies and that are. I had to buy disposables for both my two last week cause I had building work going no so was unable to do washing, anf just a pack of nappies each and 2 packs of wipes cost me £17!!! for one week!!!
I spend nothing on nappies and wipes
nothing on Noahs food as he eats the same as us
and 37 a week on formula for Dylan, but as soon as I wean him he will also eat the same as us I will just hand process it and freeze extra portions. Having kids hasnt really increased our shopping budget at all. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | my washing machine is on pretty much constant and with every wash i put in a nappy so it doesnt take up that much space! i then either line dry or tumble dry depending on the weather. rhys' nappies are always soft and im sure you could put something in to make them softer if you wanted. it really really isnt any more hastle at all! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | it ok! i have rhys' night time nappy from the night before,i change him about 9 in the morning then i change him at lunchtime then after dinner (usually poopy nappy) so around 4 a day. if colin gets him ready for bed he puts on disposables so that means ill only have 2 to wash. i put a wash on in the morning and one wash on in the evening and just include whichever nappies in each wash! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | cloth nappies are just as absorbant as disposables by the way so its not like you have to change them every hour! |

| thanks
I think iw ill have to weight up the costs of them both, coz i dont use my washing machine much, only about 4 tiems a week, and my drier isnt haqrdly on at all, unless its raining and the rads are full lol
So it will prob make my electic bill go up a bit, i will see if i can work out if it matches the cost of a box of nappys.
