we just set ours up last week with our surprise and paid a full year its with the post office and it was only £100 plus one month free were coverd for £30,000 and its only contents insurance as we stay in a council house and 30 K is more than enough for us

We had a scare too with upstairs' washing machine leaking!

It wasnt a big deal when i forst moved in as there wasnt much valuse to what we had but have since got some things and id hate for something to get stolen and having to replace out of my own pocket!

Ours is with Halifax, pay £36 a month by dd, but thats buildings and contents, we have unlimited cover and cover for any item upto £1000 that is taken out the house.
Also includes accidental damage too.
