We are with Norwich Union. We pay £17.49 for Buildings and Contents insurance but I did get a 30% discount through the Company I work for.

We're with Barclays... can't remember how much a month, but it's worth reading the small print as to what and how much is covered as they all vary slightly.

We went with a broker so our actaul insurance is will Fortis this year and is £23 a month for building and contents. It covers us for everything except damage do to wear and tear. Including storm/flood damage (worth checking for this as a lot of places arnt anymore!) and also contents of freezer if it defrosts (happens to everyone at some point)

Just as well really as we discovered we have 3 broken roof tiles the otherday and was going to cost £400 to repair.
