well after getting an eviction nottice to leave this shit house on the 25th of this month we went to the council to apply for homlessness and guess what!!!

got a letter through thismorning saying

After completion of enquires regarding your application i am satisfied that you ARE NEITHER HOMELESS NOE THREATENED WITH HOMELESSNESS AT THIS TIME. THE REASON(S) FOR THIS DECISION ARE-

YOUR LANDLORD HAS NOT ISSUED YOU WITH A COURT ORDER TO VACATE THE ABOVE ADDRESS, THERFORE YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO LEAVE AT THIS TIME!!

what the fucking hell are they all on drugs????
im so mad and pissed off im going down their and will end up slapping that stupid cow, she told us she would have a decsion made by friday and would ring us surprise surprise she didnt ring so i rang her and she wasnt their.
I called again yestetrday only to be told that the letter was in teh post and she wopuldnt tell me over the phone and then hung up on me silly bitch.

I hate south lanarkshire council so much the whole system is so fucked up if your not a pervert junkie or have drink problems then they dont want to know.

i have no idea what were goping to do 13 days to go we havent paid the rent and cant afford to, we have the landlord full family living round us and fuck knows what they will do when they hear we cant pay the rent.

Sorry for this im stressing so much and dont know what else to do, think im heading for a nervous breakdown

Your landlord HAS to follow the law! Do you feel threatened by the family?

dont feel threatend by them just yet but they have stopped talking to us.

Just of the phone to the letting store telling them the situation and the guy david i spoke to said the cannot take court action as it will cost them far to much money to put us out so i said 'look david if you dont get your finger out your arse then we will be here rent free untill yous do something about it, im sorry its come to this but i cant take my 2 kids to live on the street.'

He has taken the housing officer who made the secision number and going to call her but she will just tell him the same.

He also said this can take anything between 6-9 months to even get it to court so looks like we will be here rent free untill were being booted properly.

what a nightmare and huge mess, the sooner they get a court order the better

one bit of good news is the bankrupcy is finally going ahead have an appointment with teh sherif court on the 20th of this month to sign stuff then its bye bye debt, nothing to be proud of but at least its a huge weight of our shoulders.

just hope and pray we get a court order to be out here ASAP now.

Personally depending how much you can stick it out whist rent free you could use the cash you should pay in rent to put by for a second private house! Mind if you could get into a council property you would be more secure in the future.

ok david is the manager in the letting store. We didnt rent through private but when OH lost his job (s) we had to sell the house and the finacial adviser put us onto this guy who was renting his house out and then he put us onto teh letting store so that they could deal with any problems ect.

its all very confussing but i have only spoke to our landlord once in teh 2 years we have been here but we see his family all the time because his brother lives 2 doors down his mum stays the house behind us and his other 2 brothers stay round teh corner from us.
I would prefer to get a council house so we dont have to go through all this again and to be honest we cant afford the £450 rent here we wouldnt be able to afford another private let house because the cheapest now starts at £495 so we will be staying put untill teh council gives us a house. whenever that may be

ok just had a phone call from david from teh letting store who called the cow and he said she was useless too. Basicly she has told him that we dont want to move out we want to get out of here and she told him all we can do is apeal now the landlord has been in contact with david and has told david that if were not out by the 25th they will come and change the locks im shitting myself now. im so scared i rang the HV and shes told me to ring teh social work dept to see if they can help because we have 2 kids. I just rang them so waiting on one of them calling back. just hope ive made the right decision by ringing them i suppose they will try help but just hope their not too nosey and dont try take my kids away because we will be homeless.

im so scared at the moment but will post as soon as they ring back

social workers cant help all they can do is contact the housing and find out whats going on but thats about it except for put us into the shelterd homless unit in glasgow next to perverts junkis and all sorts and i just cant do that i would rather live in a tent outside the housing office.

waiting on this wanker from the letting store ringing bk at 3 to tell him unless he gets a court order we will have to stay put and it will be against the law that if the landlord does change the locks we will sue him not that it will be worth our while but unless we can get a court order then we will have to stay here.

Im stressing so much and OH is so calm about the whole situation but at the end of the day their is nothing else we can do but wait till they give us a house
